Anne Taylor Webb Duncan, 96, died on June 1, 2026. She was born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, the daughter of Thomas Paul Webb Jr. and Estelle Clark Webb. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Hugh Monroe Duncan Sr. in 2014 and her brother Thomas Paul Webb III in 2023.

She attended Shelby, NC schools and was a graduate of Stephens College and UNC Chapel Hill. She was a copywriter for WPTF radio in Raleigh, NC.

Anne was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Surviving are sons Hugh Monroe Duncan Jr. and Thomas Taylor Duncan. Grandchildren, William Schuyler Duncan, Webb Yates Duncan, Jessie McBrayer Duncan and Eli Taylor Duncan. Great grandchildren, William Schuyler Duncan Jr. and Wyatt Ray Duncan. And sister-in-law Leslie Webb. 
Burial will be private.
