Daniel Rizzo Obituary
Daniel Anthony Rizzo, 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 26, 1952 to the late Anthony and Joyce Rizzo and was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Rizzo McGrory.
Dan is survived by his son, Daniel Rizzo and wife Amy, his daughter Kristina Rizzo and son Michael Rizzo. Also surviving him are his grandchildren; Tyler Rizzo and wife Amanda, Madison and husband Jacob, Evan Rizzo, Dani Rizzo, Anthony Rizzo and great granddaughter, Luciana Rizzo.
Dan was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He was dedicated in supporting the aspirations of his children and always put his loved ones first. Anyone close to him knew that they could count on him in times of need no matter the circumstance, no questions asked. Family and friends describe him as strong-willed, intelligent, loving, kind, and dedicated.
He touched many with words in his collection of poems "Matters of the Heart & Soul: Released and Free" and has helped many businesses by consulting for 40+ years.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held in Charlotte on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 3:00pm at Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center on Monroe Rd.
