Kathleen Ann (Fink) Flynn

Kathleen A. (Katie) Fink Flynn, age 83, passed away on October 18, 2021 in Moore SC.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, Rosalie and Lester Fink of Lomira, WI; one brother Richard Fink of Marrero, LA; one sister Linda Atkinson of Charlotte NC; and numerous aunts and uncles. 

She is survived by 6 children; Gerard (Sue) Ruedinger, Franklin, WI; Donald (Velda) Ruedinger, Florence, SC;  Mary Jo (Dennis) Norwood, Matthews, NC;  Andrew (Gayelynn) Ruedinger, Moore, SC;  Patti Jo (Rick) Hollifield, Greer, SC and Matthew (Lois) Ruedinger, Lancaster, SC.  She is also survived by her sister Suzanne Dingman, Scottsdale, AZ; her brother Daniel (Marilyn) Fink, Lomira, WI. and her sister-in-law Liz Gwinn, Marrero, LA.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. 

Katie was born in Fond du Lac, WI on October 16, 1938 and lived for many years in Fond du Lac and Lomira, WI.  She graduated from Lomira High School, Lomira WI in 1956.  She also lived in Massachusetts for 8 years before moving to Charlotte NC in 1986.  She was employed as an Administrative Assistant by SP Associates, Inc. since 1988 until her retirment. 

A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday October 29, 2021 at 1:15 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Church at 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte, NC  with the placement of ashes in the columbarium at the church immediately after the funeral Mass.  Family will receive friends in the Activity Center of the church immediately afterward.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Building Fund, 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte, NC 28210 or Diabetes Foundation Association, PO Box 1131 Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
