Obituary

Sissy passed away March 27, 2022. She was born July 25, 1931, and preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Marcelyn Kimball, her sister, Gwendolyn Cartwright, brother, George Kimball, daughter Deborah Casey and husband, Charles Milford.

Sissy is survived by Stowe Wyant, her friend and companion, daughters Linda DiPasqua, Christy Chamberlain and Diana LeBlanc. She also has 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Sissy was a perpetual volunteer and always radiated love and kindness to all who knew her. She was involved with Avery County Habitat for Humanity and helped support the building of a home in Milford Meadows that was established by her husband, Charles Milford.

Services will be held at The Trinity Presbyterian Church at 3115 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28211 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022. Service will be televised on The Trinity Presbyterian Church website simultaneously. Reception will be held immediately following service.
