Rosemarie Frinzi Broadway

Rosemarie Frinzi Broadway, 86, of Charlotte passed away at home peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, surrounded by her close family. Rosemarie grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania graduating from Easton High School in 1954. She migrated to Charlotte in the early 1960s, and it remained her home for the rest of her life. She worked at and retired from Charlotte Medical Clinic after 35 years of service. She was also a very active church participant with Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, as she volunteered there, as well as with Hospice of Charlotte, Mercy Hospital and the Shepherd Center of Charlotte.
Rosemarie was known to so many as “Granny.” She was a generous soul that was full of energy and spunk. She could never get enough of Hallmark holiday movies, Elvis Presley songs or cooking up some Italian cuisine for her family and friends. She loved spending time with all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dogs. There was never a room that didn’t light up from her presence. She always met you with a smile, and quite possibly a delightful command of some sort. She kept us all busy, and we will truly miss that because
being around her was the easiest job in the world.

Rosemarie was predeceased by her father, Angelo Frinzi, her mother, Josephine Frinzi , her husband, Ben “Joe” Broadway, and her brother, Salvatore Frinzi. She is survived by her daughters, Margie (David) Killough and Debra Dempwolf; her stepchildren Todd Broadway, Tammy (Ardell) Mees and Tina (Rodney) Wiest; her brother, Anthony (George) Frinzi; her grandchildren Gerald (Jaime) Morris, Misty (Shane) Morris, Audra (Brent) Misenheimer, Joseph Crisco and AnnMarie Crisco; and her eight great-grandchildren (Madison, Carson,
Logan, Collin, Weston, Emory, Luke and Kayson).

There will be a Memorial Mass celebrating Rosemarie’s life at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10:00am.
